What We Do
Little Bean Therapy is centered on empowering families to effectively support their children. We use evidence-based, family-centered strategies to help each child reach their fullest potential — through individual sessions and expert consultation that equip families with the knowledge and tools to foster growth and development.
How We Help
We look at the whole child, not just one skill at a time. Here's where we might focus, depending on what your family needs.
Building independence and confidence around self-care. Toilet training is where we specialize, including stalled progress, withholding, and the anxiety that often comes with it — a big part of why families come to us.
Self-Care & Toilet Training
Play-based strategies to help kids recognize feelings, build coping tools, and handle big emotions — the meltdowns, the shutdowns, the moments that feel impossible to navigate. We help kids build real skills for those moments, and help parents feel more confident supporting them.
Emotional Regulation
Help kids learn what their body needs — and respond calmly when the world feels like too much (or not enough). We also help parents understand what their child's body is telling them, giving you real tools to support regulation as a family, not just during a session.
Sensory Processing
Strengthening attention, working memory, planning, and self-monitoring — the skills behind following directions, staying organized, and moving smoothly from one activity to the next.
Executive Function
From holding a pencil to climbing at the playground — grasping, writing, balance, coordination, and eye-hand skills. We help kids build the physical confidence to keep up, keep pace, and enjoy moving through their world.
Fine Motor, Gross Motor, Visual Motor
Support for picky eating, texture difficulties, and oral motor delays — building positive, confident mealtime routines. Whether mealtimes feel like a battle, your child eats a very limited range of foods, or new textures and smells shut things down before they start, we help make food feel safe again — for your child and for the whole family sitting at that table.
